Background

Established in October of 2021 for the mission of saving lives of people suffering from natural disasters and humanitarian crises around the world. We work to achieve this mission through the development of international data standards and a global data trust to protect personally identifiable information for all human beings among all nations.

Specifically, PORTAL coordinates its efforts with disaster and crisis response teams throughout the world to facilitate secure, timely, and effective management of crisis-related data. This data is used to power aid operations to deliver relief to people in need, and it is also used to power rescue operations to get people to safety. Without effective information-flow, well-intentioned and even well-equipped entities are unable to maximize their capabilities.

PORTAL strives to meet an exacerbating global need as tensions are rising in many parts of the world.
